Kate Christie
Group Director of Finance

Our Group Director of Finance, Kate Christie, is an ACA Chartered Accountant, has 12 years’ industry experience and a degree in Accountancy.

Her role involves evaluating new business opportunities and determining if they are financially viable. As part of the leadership team, she also assists in establishing a five-year strategic plan to ensure the Group continues to grow and maintains its competitive advantage. Her background in external audits has given her an insight into various industries and she is able to apply this knowledge to her current role. 

Her day to day role involves overseeing the banking facilities and preparing the monthly management accounts to present to the board. Another key aspect of her role is ensuring the Group adheres to legislation such as insurance requirements, employee rights and HMRC regulations.

She enjoys working for Wolviston because there is a strong team ethos which creates a friendly environment, enabling the best service to be provided through good cross departmental communication. She most enjoys preparing the management accounts as this is a key measure of the performance of the business.

Outside of work, she enjoys activity holidays and going to the cinema.
