Assistant Area Maintenance Engineer

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to provide front line engineering support to the area manufacturing assets. This role is pivotal in maintaining safe and compliant asset availability.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specifications and engineering requirements for work delivery task orders, enabling the maintenance main contractor to deliver work effectively and efficiently
  • Act as the first-line recipient for any technical clarification or problem-solving after the delivery teams
  • Collaborate closely with the area workflow controllers to ensure the contracted planning organisation has all the necessary information to progress tasks, including design, proformas, and material specifications
Requirements:
  • HNC qualified or higher in a relevant engineering discipline (mechanical, instrumentation, electrical, control systems) or trade qualified with significant experience in petrochemical asset engineering/maintenance
