Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to support our client in delivering Sustaining (M&R) and Growth CAPEX projects across their UK assets. In this full-time permanent position, you will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, within budget, and on time, while leading multi-disciplinary teams and collaborating with stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Overseeing the development and implementation of assigned projects, ensuring compliance with UK and European legislation
• Managing the creation of project scopes, budgets, schedules, and business cases for approval
• Conducting risk assessments, technical documentation, and feasibility studies, including HAZOP/HAZIP processes
• Liaising with stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and external partners to maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensuring all projects adhere to safety, environmental, and planning regulations, including COMAH and CDM compliance
• Managing budgets and financial governance, including monitoring expenditure, approving variations, and ensuring accurate forecasting

Key requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or a related discipline
• Accreditation with PMP/Prince2 or an equivalent project management methodology
• Proven experience managing CAPEX projects in chemical, petrochemical, or process industries, particularly COMAH sites
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, engineering principles, and project management best practices
