Operations Technician

Our client is seeking an Operations Technician to join their team at Beckton CHiP. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for an experienced technician with a background in CHP, power generation, or process plant operations to take on a dual operations and maintenance role.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor the plant via DCS systems, ensuring safe and efficient running
• Perform first-line maintenance, troubleshooting issues and ensuring reliability
• Support plant start-up, shutdown, and emergency response procedures
• Ensure compliance with safe systems of work, permit-to-work, and environmental standards
• Assist in outage planning and operational improvement projects

Key Requirements:

• Experience in power generation, process plant, or CHP operations
• Strong knowledge of DCS operation and maintenance principles
• Understanding of safe systems of work, risk assessments, and compliance
• NVQ Level 3 / HNC / HND in an engineering discipline
