Process Engineer

We are recruiting a Process Engineer to join our client, leading the process engineering function on-site, supporting both new and existing plant and products. This role encompasses everything from initial scoping and FEED studies to process engineering design, safety, and risk management.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare process engineering documentation for FEED studies
• Plan and manage installation and commissioning of new/modifications to plant
• Lead initial conceptual phases and ensure design balance between suitability, operability, and cost
• Conduct HAZOPs, design reviews, and risk assessments; implement recommendations
• Establish and lead a process safety management system to meet regulatory standards
• Participate in major capital project teams, supporting the process engineering, and taking a key role in process improvement activities

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering
• Chartered Engineer status
• Previous experience in chemical manufacturing or the process industry
• Experience working on a COMAH site and familiarity with key regulations (DSEAR, CDM, COMAH)
• Proven track record in project management, including EPC contracts
