Senior Process Operator

We are recruiting on behalf of a pioneering company seeking a Senior Process Operator to join their pilot plant operations in Teesside. This is a full-time permanent position, starting on day shifts, and offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of sustainable metals recovery using cutting-edge polymer-based extraction technology.

This role provides a unique chance to contribute to the development of environmentally transformative processes, working in a hands-on capacity within a collaborative and safety-focused team.
  
Senior Process Operator key responsibilities:

• Operating and monitoring chemical processing equipment
• Handling hazardous materials safely and effectively
• Conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Leading and training junior operators
• Preparing risk assessments and standard operating procedures

Requirements to be a Senior Process Operator:

• Significant experience in the chemical industry
• Strong background in batch processing, filtration, and handling hazardous materials
• Supervisory experience essential
• Forklift operation experience
• Proven commitment to safety in chemical operations (qualifications desirable)
