Fabricator

We have an excellent opportunity for a Fabricator/Welder (Plater/Welder) to join the dedicated Engineering and Manufacturing teams at our clients site in Saltburn. This is a key role where your skills will contribute directly to production efficiency, product quality, and the high standards of health and safety our teams are known for.
 
You’ll work at the heart of a facility driving the UK’s steel innovation forward, supporting operational demands while making proactive improvements across plant performance, reliability, and safety.
 
About the Role
As part of the expanding Engineering team, you’ll collaborate closely with production departments to deliver key maintenance and fabrication works. Your ability to apply your technical expertise will be instrumental in tackling safety, quality and operational challenges – ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively and efficiently.
 
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant structural or fabrication discipline
• Completion of a recognised apprenticeship (or equivalent training route)
• Ideally, experience in heavy structural maintenance or fabrication within a heavy engineering environment
• A proactive and flexible approach, with a strong desire to develop and grow
