The Opportunity
We're currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Water Treatment Engineer to join a growing team delivering essential water hygiene and treatment services across the UK.
 
With previous experience working across L8-compliant environments, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality water treatment solutions for clients nationwide.

This is a field-based role requiring regular travel across the UK, so flexibility and a full UK driving licence are essential.
 
What You'll Be Doing

• Conducting closed system analysis, testing, and dosing
• Carrying out inspections, cleaning, and chlorinations of water storage tanks and cooling towers
• Performing TMV servicing and shower head disinfections
• Undertaking temperature monitoring and sampling in accordance with ACOP L8
• Carrying out spa balance tank cleans, dead leg removals and disinfections of pipework and buildings
• Supporting pre-commission cleaning and flushing activities
• Performing calorifier pasteurisation and routine maintenance
• Completing water system assessments, fault-finding, and compliance reporting
• Collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure timely, safe and compliant service delivery

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in Water Treatment and Hygiene engineering
• Water Hygiene qualifications (L8 / Legionella Control Association / equivalent)
• Strong understanding of HSG274 and relevant British Standards
• Confident communicator, both written and verbal
• Full clean UK driving licence
• Ability to work nationwide, including occasional overtime and overnight stays 

Desirable Skills (Not Essential)

• Experience with water softener installations and servicing (Clack, Fleck, Autotrol units)
• RO Plant installation, fault-finding and maintenance
