Wolviston Management Services are proud to be supporting our client in the search for an experienced Welder to join their established production team in Middlesbrough.

About the Role
As a Welder, you'll play a key role in the fabrication and assembly of steel  products and related components, working to high quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll use your skills and attention to detail to ensure every weld meets specification and contributes to the reliable performance our client is known for.
 
What You'll Be Doing

• Carrying out MIG welding operations (with TIG experience beneficial) on steel and associated components
• Working from detailed fabrication drawings and welding instructions
• Ensuring weld quality, accuracy, and consistency through self-inspection and adherence to internal standards
• Supporting fabricators with component preparation, fit-up, and assembly
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with company safety policies
• Contributing to continuous improvement and team collaboration across production and finishing areas

What We're Looking For

• Time-served Welder or equivalent experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
• Strong ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings
• Skilled in MIG welding (TIG experience advantageous)
• A proactive and safety-conscious approach to work
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality workmanship
• Previous experience in steel fabrication or door manufacturing would be beneficial
