Stock & Quality Controller

We're supporting our client in recruiting a dedicated Stock & Quality Controller to join their expanding team during an exciting phase of growth. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who's looking to develop their skills within a structured Stock and Quality Control environment.

You'll bring a keen eye for detail, the ability to work accurately under pressure, and the confidence to manage your workload effectively—both independently and as part of a wider team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct stock takes, cycle counts, and day-to-day stock accuracy checks
• Perform spot checks on customer orders to ensure quality and compliance
• Quality-check inbound deliveries and carry out inspections throughout the warehouse
• Support stock organisation, reconciliation, and investigation activities
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Identify, record, and resolve any stock discrepancies or errors
• Oversee general stock management through the Warehouse Management System
• Provide Warehouse Operative support when required
• Carry out additional warehouse duties in line with operational needs

Skills & Experience

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and use initiative
• Good understanding of warehouse operations (essential)
• Effective organisational and communication skills
• Confident navigating a large warehouse to locate customer items
• Solid numeracy and literacy skills
• Previous experience in Stock or Inventory Control (ideally 2+ years)
