We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Operator Technician to join an upper-tier COMAH plant.

The facility operates as a continuous process plant, controlled via a Distributed Control System, where disciplined operational practice and strong technical awareness are essential.

The Operator Technician will be responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant and efficient operation of the plant through monitoring, inspection and control of plant systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control plant operations via a Distributed Control System
  • Conduct routine plant inspections and operational checks
  • Support start-up, shutdown and emergency shutdown procedures
  • Maintain compliance with COMAH and Major Accident Hazard procedures
  • Optimise plant efficiency in line with operational targets
Requirements
  • Experience within a continuous process or power generation environment
  • Knowledge of COMAH and SHE systems
  • Experience operating plant via DCS or SCADA
  • Strong teamworking and communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
