Our client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Admin Assistant to support a busy Supply Chain department within a large industrial manufacturing environment.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to join a well-established business on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for extension. The successful candidate will provide key administrative support across customs, shipping, and invoice processing activities, helping to ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day supply chain functions.
 
The role would suit an individual who is confident working with data, documentation, and internal systems within a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Support import customs clearance administration
  • Manage export customs clearance documentation
  • Process and maintain shipping line documentation
  • Assist the wider Supply Chain team with general administrative duties
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is completed correctly
  • Work with spreadsheets and reporting tools to manage and track data
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders
Essential Requirements
  • Previous administration experience within a busy office environment
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including:
  • VLOOKUPs
  • XLOOKUPs
  • Pivot Tables
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team environment
  • Confident using computer systems and handling large volumes of data
Desirable Skills & Experience
  • Previous SAP experience
  • Experience within supply chain, logistics, shipping, or manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of customs documentation processes

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Able to prioritise workload effectively in a busy environment
  • Proactive and reliable with a positive attitude
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Package & Working Hours
  • Initial 6-month contract with potential for extension
  • Part-time hours - Monday to Friday, approximately 9:30am to 3:30pm
  • Flexibility available on start and finish times
  • Competitive hourly rate
