Supply Chain Coordinator
Location: Wilton, Teesside, UK
Working hours: Part-time (3 days a week)
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to join our clients team at Wilton on a part-time basis. This role supports the effective coordination of supply chain activities, ensuring smooth order fulfilment, efficient inventory management, and strong alignment between customer demand and production planning.
The successful candidate will act as a key link between Customer Service, Planning, Logistics, and Manufacturing to ensure material availability and high service levels.
Key Responsibilities Order & Supply Coordination
- Coordinate customer orders and ensure timely fulfilment in line with service level agreements.
- Monitor order progress and proactively resolve supply or delivery issues.
- Liaise with Customer Service and Logistics teams to manage order prioritisation and scheduling.
Inventory & Material Management
- Track inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability across product lines.
- Support inventory control processes, including cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
- Identify potential stock shortages or excess inventory and escalate risks.
Production & Planning Support
- Work closely with Supply Planners and Production teams to align demand and supply.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating production plans to meet customer requirements.
- Support raw material availability and highlight constraints impacting production.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as a key point of contact between internal teams including Sales, Planning, Manufacturing, and Logistics.
- Provide updates on supply status, risks, and mitigation actions.
- Build strong working relationships to ensure smooth operational flow.
Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate data in ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Prepare reports on order status, inventory, and supply performance.
- Support performance tracking against KPIs (OTIF, inventory levels, service levels).

Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, planning, or customer operations (preferred)
- Experience in manufacturing, chemicals, or industrial sectors is advantageous
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP is desirable
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, business, or related field
